USPA NEWS -
The complaint of former driver Fabrizio Barbazza, citing a reliable source: "He has had serious consequences: difficulty focusing and temporary obstruction of the veins." The Spaniard will not be at the start of the first Grand Prix of the season, in Australia.
"The hidden truth of Alonso." Is the title of the post on Facebook that started rumours as to what happened to the McLaren driver during testing in Barcelona. The author is Fabrizio Barbazza, a former Formula One driver (two seasons, with Ags and with Minardi in 1991 and 1993) which now has retired to private life in Cuba, where he continues to follow and comment on the events of F1. Here it is, then, the truth on Alonso (second Barbazza): Fernando " suffered a 600 watt shock with serious consequences." In the comments of his post, Barbazza claims that it´s not the simple deduction of a passionate, however competent, but reliable news that would have been tipped off by a "free bird".
The hypothesis of the shock circulated in the immediacy of the facts, and categorically denied by the mouth of the McLaren boss Ron Dennis, would seem to have been excluded from the initial investigations. But the source of Barbazza is safe. So much so that he also illustrated the consequences, in the immediate, suffered by the Spaniard because of electric shock: difficulty focusing and temporary obstruction of the veins. Just enough to lose control of the car and cause the "freak accident" (copyright Sebastian Vettel).
Serious consequences, as is shown by the long hospitalization in intensive care in the following days and uncertainty, today more than ever deeper, the real possibility that the Spaniard participate in the opening race of the World Championship, on March 15 in Melbourne. Yes, because beyond the words of Barbazza, the fact is that at the time Fernando Alonso had not decided on wheather he would race or not. Leaving fans, sponsors and media hanging to his decision. Will he be on the track or not in Australia?
Which of the two is the correct version of the incident, or the "hidden truth of Alonso?" to use the words of Barbazza. Excluded in fact the technical failure or a laughable version of the wind and the artificial grass or asphalt, a feeling of insecurity remains in Barcelona to how Alonso's Mclaren slid off the track in a strange way. Now the FIA will open an investigation and try to understand more through images and data. But the images are of poor quality and the data as well. Ivan Capelli, former F1 driver stated, "I do not know with what spirit will the drivers take to the track on Sunday in Melbourne."
As I write this article the question that keeps crossing my mind is: "could it be plausible that a driver recieve an electrical shock of such an entity inside the car?"
