Small plane crash in Guatemala kills at least 6

At least six people were killed after an aircraft accident in southwestern Guatemala, local authorities said Friday. The accident took place on Friday in the community of Nuevo Porvenir, located in the municipality of Ixhicguan in Guatemala`s San Marcos Department, when the aircraft crashed into a mountain.
Among those killed were four Mexican nationals, identified as Eduardo Castillo Perez, the pilot from the state of Tamaulipas, Raul Villeda from Sonora, Jesus Enrique Bojorquez, and Antonio de Jesus Sanchez, both from Chiapas. The fifth victim was a Venezuelan National, Elio Brito Lari Cechia, while the sixth person was yet to be identified. The passengers were riding a small Cessna aircraft, but its route was not immediately known. In addition, unconfirmed reports said a number of briefcases on the plane were filled with jewelry and cash. As security officials reached the area, locals were reportedly obstructing the accident site and trying to loot.
